Become a Steward

The Mud Bay Ecological Society welcomes individuals who wish to contribute to the observation, restoration, and preservation of the Mud Bay watershed. Whether through fieldwork, photography, education, or scientific observation, every contribution becomes part of the living memory of place.


Ways to Serve

Habitat Steward

Assist with native plant restoration, shoreline stewardship, and invasive species management.

Naturalist Observer

Participate in bird surveys, wildlife observations, and seasonal monitoring.

Water Steward

Support water quality sampling and wetland monitoring.

Photography Steward

Document habitats, wildlife, and ecological change through photography.

Archive Steward

Help preserve species records, historical photographs, and ecological observations.

Education Steward

Assist with guided walks, workshops, and community outreach.
